NEW LIFE - Living the Slow life at its fullest

THE LAST TWO WEEKS

The last two weeks were very special!
Susana and me have been has invited guest speakers at the Metropolia University international Design week, in Helsinki Finland. We presented Susana’s research on “Inverse future” - connecting Speculative and Critical Design to create today’s design interventions and actions.

We visit and had a very nice meeting in Aalto University Helsinki with the Research & Innovation services to prepaid possible agreement on sharing research themes, models and projects considering the new Ph.D in Design & Innovation program (under FCT accreditation at the moment).

I have run another International Business School for Karel de Grote University in Antwerp, innovation opportunies intensive course, were students from different parts of the world emerge in the Slow Design Thinking approach to change their mindset and attitude towards learning and becoming entrepreneurs of the future.

During this (more) academic period GUDA delivered also several important deliverables to their clients:
URBINAT H2020 project - We we’re responsibles for two consortium webinar on the following topics: From Living Labs to Community of Practice and Participation and Co-creation. To support these webinars we also developed two scientific based articles / contributions for the URBINAT reports.
TWINTEX - We developed and deliver the PT2020 full project report after last improvements and creative communication supports development and fine-tune. 281 pages with knowledge, Strategy and Creative Design ! We love our job!
SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY PARK- We’re developing the Communication strategy and Supports to attract international investors and disseminate the Parks services. It’s a difficult challenge to innovation in such “investment” oriented mission but we like difficult challenges.
RENEWEAL OF A CINEMA - We’re developing the new strategy positioning, anchor brand concepts and Foodcourt Design regarding the re-design of a iconic city cinema in a Portuguese City. Same times if feels really good to have the feed back on the ground, right! Designing for local economies development based on community and lifequality of citizens! Slow Design Thinking to change economy Purpose... Let’s do it!

The best part of it? we manage to combine work with family time. Our little Mariana went with us to Finland and had a great time! Another life Experience for HER! :) This that’s why WE love our JOB and our Slow Company GUDA!
